Insurance

Allstate here. Have had my motorcycles insured with them for years. Adding the GSX1300R to the two CBX policy with identical coverage, everything but collision, I pay $505.92 per year for three bikes. Coverage is,

Liability-25/50/25 bodily injury and property damage
Uninsured-25/50/3,500 bobily injury and property damage
Comprehensive (in case its stolen) with a $250 deductible

I get a good driver discount as an unmarried male, licensed for 39 years. The annual premium for the Busa alone is $216.76.

That, with state farm insurance for motorcycle coverage. This does not apply to the cars, house etc you have covered just motorcycle, and water crafts (jet skies).

If YOU the insured/driver is injured because you fell off, low sided, high sided or basically it was your fault crash. THEY DO NOT PAY FOR MEDICAL bills for YOU. If your passenger is hurt, that passenger (yep your 10 year old son) will have to sue you to get their bills paid. So yaw ridin chicken heads, man up!.

If you hurt someone else, pedestrian, other driver etc they pay for their vehicle, their injuries etc, they pay for your bike but cho broken up arse is on your own to use your work MEDICAL INSURANCE for coverage. They do not offer it period. Thats why their rates are so low. Progressive is the next best company with a ruff $900 - $1100 a year policy for the same full coverage except they pay all medical statey farm does not.

Just so you know,

Yea I have State Farm. Im just hoping I have a good trained witness talking to the "man" for me.

That's what major medical insurance is for. The amount most insurance companies give you for medical payments is laughable. That $5K might cover the first hour in an emergency room. Medical only adds $11 a year to my car premiums.

Most important thing I want is uninsured/underinsured coverage. If some pathetic loser with no insurance or state minimum hits me I'm still covered up to $300K without screwing with my major medical.

I pay 344$ a year for full coverage and I am only 25 years old. Thats pretty darn good as far as I am concerned. State Farm is da bomb.

I have state farm and my agent offered me medical coverage. I never took it because I have medical through where I work but they did offer it to me. It would even pay me while I was off work in the hospital if I took it.

State Farm, $75 a month, full coverage, $500/250/100 deduct, no points, but I did total a busa last year

That is odd, my Allstate agent says Allstate will not insure these bikes. I have had insurance with them for 20+ years. BTW, I pay $199 a year for liability only thru a company called Foremost.

i only pay 30.00 a month and i have medical insurance with mine, the good thing about it is that if you get in a wreck and have any medical bills it pays you 5000.00, no matter what the bill is that it through my agent

I have Acuity, they cost me $531. annual full coverage, last year 05, I'm check en into State Farm for 06 got a quote of $434.

06 busa, State Farm 100/300/50 liab. 100/300 uninsured motorist 500 Ded Comp & Collision 6 month cost $376.00. 55 years old no tickets and that's in San Jose, Ca. They will write just a motorcycle, If the agent tells you differently he trying to get additional business as there is very little commision in the policy. For some reason they were higher on my FJR so I left that with Foremost.

I progressive last year was $600 but I had a buddy who is an aget check into cheaper insurance and the next cheapest was $1000 a year. Ihave had my rate with progressive drop every year.

Dearborn Heights, MI
Full Coverage, 500 Deductible + 5000 Medical
$650/ year
but must also insure a car with them.

Best prices for Motorcycle i have found for my city.
However, you have to take the bike in for them to "check it out" if you want comp and collision.. incase it has some accidents on it already.

the best customer service by far is progressive.. you can click the call me button on their web site, 24 hours a day and they will call you immediately less than 2 secs.. my phone was ringing.. Quote $3000 for same coverage.

Just renewed my State Farm policy two days ago. Dropped another $25 this year, down to $300 a year!
