It has saved me many times. (But sad to say I just got a ticket from a county sheriff who snuck up behind me and paced me, and wrote me for 65 in a 55).

The Adaptiv unit is simple, waterproof, and can be removed for storage quite easy. The Valentine 1 folks swear that theirs is best, but if you need to know which direction, how far away and what they had for breakfast, then that is a better choice. I just want to know they are near me, and running radar.
