Go buy it. Theres alot to be said about the Busa as a first bike. With that being said, in my honest opinion it all comes down to respect for the machine and responsibility.
I had all the same concerns having never been on anything larger than my gsxr 750. What I found out is the Busa is a gentle GIANT. Control the throttle, keeps the rrrr's under 5,000, and she feels just like every other bike you ever rode. Now let that throttle get away and open her up and all hell will break loose between your legs, but you'll get use to it.
So IMHO, if your mature, responsible, and able to comfortably control your throttle hand on any bike, then the Busa will not be a problem. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Not until Monday, we'll get pics up as soon as possible. It's exciting knowing it's essentially a done deal and having to wait, but all good things are worth waiting for.
You'll have to forgive me being new to board, but could you help me out with B&P and LE?
Yes, the excitement is building, I went for a ride on our current bike today, just trying to be ready for Monday. Although I also imagine *nothing* can prepare me for the first ride on the Busa....
I had a CBR600 before the busa... but I had not ridden 5 years before the busa! Im doing ok... not pushing it like Rossi or anything! But, Im doing ok. Go get your busa dude....
