Inversion therapy

Wear your helmet and hang upside down. A good table will allow you to vary the angle. Putting a helmet on will provide a few pounds of traction on your neck and upper back.

Hey have you tried a chiropractor?

I found one that plays Rugby so he knows about sports related injuries and healing it was the best thing I ever did.
 
Doug, we had a program here a work for while called "Save a Back". It has some pretty good exercises that were aimed in preventing back injuries, but also claimed to reduce back pain from previous injuries. I cant discuss it on the open forum but if you would like to know the basic exercise, send me a pm.
