Is 4" over long enough?

I use my bike for mostly daily riding but go to the drag strip probably every other week during the summer. I haven't done anything major to my bike just a few small things to make it faster for the strip. I've decided to stretch it since I geared it and now the wheel won't stay down. My question is that my buddy has a 4" over swingarm, would that be enough to keep me down or would that even make a difference? Also, how much would that affect drivability?

Unless your trying to set a roadcorse record, It won't affect it much. Even 6over is very usable.

I make the nicest bolt on swingarm extensions on the market. they are bolt on. On a Busa all you need is a longer chain, the brake line is long enough. You can take them off in about an hour or less to stock length. Ill discount them to anyone on this site also, PM me for costs..:)

Would you happen to make them polished?

I was going to PM you that question, but someone else may have wanted to ask you the same thing.

We have them bright raw(un-anodized). I can have some polished but offhand I don't know how much more $$$.

ill try and scrounge up some pics.;)
