Issues on new server post here >> April 2025

Folks we moved servers this weekend and made some significant changes, I created this thread to track issues. If you experience something not working correctly or you are having any challenges just post it here please...

"any challenges?" That could open up an entirely new can of worms and force you to get out the therapy couch.....

Two things hold true...

  1. In that guest number are people not logged in as well as bots or crawlers, we sort those out in other reports but for the sake of real time access to the site it give an idea of how many times the forum is getting hit by someone either automated or clicking manually.
  2. I freaked a bunch of people out when I said we were shutting down, not that it was my intention but I was trying to give advanced notice on what had come to the point where I was running out of options. People did exactly what I would have done and that was to start finding new homes. There is a chance that they did find a new place they like better and we might not see them come back but time will tell us what folks choose to do.
The bot numbers are good, think about it if your site sucks no one wants the content but when you have content everyone wants it for one reason or another and we control them. This is what we fixed...
