Well with a little bondo, epoxy, primer, flat black paint, used headlight from Goldenchild (thanks again cloud nine rocks), a couple donations (thanks again Latin Riders), and a whole lot of elbow grease I am done (for now). I have my first busa, it's an '05 and I am into it a total $3225. I'm excited.

Thanks all. Now I just gotta get the girlfriend to actually like riding. She's one of those odd ones who is scared of riding any bike. I haven't told her how badass a bike this is but I'll ease her into it. And if not I can always get a solo bubble!

Thats funny. My girlfriend told me she likes to go fast when I first met her. She is a Harley woman and has never been on a sportbike. Now she yells at me when I start to open her up. She now refuses to ride with me when I have the itch to go fast.

Good looking bike, welcome to the board if I have not already said so. The 05's are the best year! Just ease your g/f into into a little at time. Take short rides and gradually work your way up. I would suggest investing in an intercom system for your helmets so she can talk to you. Now then, more pics!

Damn, and I thought I got mine cheap...nice work!  I had the same issue with my girl.  Just take it slow at first and gradually ease her into it.  If that doesn't work find a new girl.

Yeah my wife told me that too.....once Then I had to start sneaking out while she was sleeping, just to get a good ride in............................maybe that's why she cheated on me, and now we're seperated ?? LOL !!

becareful about introducing your g/f to the sport of riding...I introduced my g/f (now my wife) to riding and as some of you know...she wanted to start riding...so we got her a bike......and her bike is a Busa as well...so we have 2 Busa's.....I consider myself a lucky man!!!

you got a hell of a deal. If she's not used to riding fast then be careful because it can be dangerous with a nervous rider. I've seen a lot of accidents that way.
