I was a little older, but I don't think I held up as well as he appears to in that photo.  My Dad was older and didn't die in combat, but he made sacrifices that most of us will never know to serve his country - and his family - in Vietnam and Korea.  Nor was the pain of his loss diminished by his age.

To all the people who serve to keep us free - thank you.
