its not just harley riders

Reading past threads on harley riders not waving to fellow bikers ( this i know is true from experience ) NOT ALL OF THEM I MUST ADD . But i cant help wondering if a lot of bikers only wave to the same breed of motorcycle .

I also own a 1980 yamaha rd350lc witch has been off the road for the past six years , any how i been using it again regularly for the last two weeks and noticed that the only bikers that wave/nod are commuters or old retro owners .

I dont wave to cruisers rider cause most of the time they dont wave back so
There are some sportbike riders who dont wave back eather so to them too
I have stop waving to people, but if they wave I do wave back.

I was following a scooter (in a car) it had a 600 sticker on it, and I was telling my brother those kinda scooters trick me into waiving to them. I then explained how Harley riders never waive and while I was saying this, two Harley riders ride by and waived. My bro asked if that makes the scooter cooler than me....

Yes..a fellow enthusiast. I find that it makes no difference what machine your piloting...(ok maybe not a moped) HD or Import..some do some dont.
Unless I`m `too busy` I`ll throw a hand out..down low...not like

Have you noticed when you wear a helmet most cruiser riders without helmets dont wave.

I wave at everyone, cruisers, retro's, sportbikes, mopeds, bicycles, cars with one headlight. If they don't wave back, my wave turns into the one finger salute.

Who cares who waves or not.I try to give a friendly gesture but sometimes I don't or forget or I am not fast enough...etc. If other people don't return it I don't hold it against them.Maybe they didn't see it.
