Welcome aboard. You will definitely enjoy the Busa over a Honda. I liked the pearl white as well, you don't see too many of them. Take your time and learn the bike...pick the best mods for you. It's already a much better machine than the CBR, tweaking it just adds salt on their wounds. :firedevil::firedevil:

You just can't go wrong with the Hayabusa.

first mod? right wrist control, the busa is a monster

I ordered some "stuff" for the bike. Will be doing the first official mod on this bike which is taking off the reflectors! The second mod is in the mail and will be installed tomorrow... a taller wind screen.

Have you thought about running it in on a dyno? That way you're giving the bike the best possible start to its life, If I bought mine new that would have been first on the list.

Something to think about, I would like to run it on the dyno just for the HP numbers that is not advertised anywhere... For all of you busa specialist - do you need to have the bike tuned when getting it brand new? I ask this because one of the guys I work with, his daughter did a science experiment in which she took a handkerchief to several new cars with the same make, model, and engine size. There were different results, some came out darker, some lighter, some hardly at all. Should a new bike of the show room get tweaked to ensure that it is running properly?
