I've got a secret

when i showed up with mine (called g/f from the dealer to warn her) she had a snit cause "it only had one seat" and "if I didn't want her to ride with me I could have just said so".
To make matters worse the dealer had lost my seat and grab bar for the rear and had to order new ones.
I showed her pictures on here that it DOES in fact accept a passenger seat and she calmed down a bit.
I still get grief from her for trading in my Road Star Warrior, but I usually point out that I am the one riding it and it is (for me) a hands down no brainer far superior machine.

Well she came home saw the bike and immediatly said 'oh you got your old bike fixed.' I said no then she said what did you buy a new bike. I said who me? then she realized that this monster was nothing like my old zx-10. she was happy that I got a brand new bike (she never liked that the zx-10 was used.) my wife is good like that

One ? 4 the seasoned riders how do you guys deal with the vibration in the handlebars?

That could have gone either way, so I'd say you got lucky.
I haven't had too many hand numbing experiences. Maybe softer grips???

Good luck!

Vibration in the handle bars?

What vibration?

9000 miles, 180+ on occasion, never noticed any vibration in the handle bars

If there is ANY vibration I would be concerned and take it back to the dealer.

The only reason I feel comfortable taking the bike to speeds in excess of 180 is because it feels solid as a rock with no vibration..

I've never noticed any vibration either...

Take it back to the dealer!

I did the same thing back in December, never told her,it mysteriously appeared in the garage...She was peed, but got over it qwick...Wonder if it had anything to do with me having 2 other bikes too!!!
