Jackwagon Cager of the Day

What a jackass! He clearly was not paying attention to the road.

Chattanooga, you need to install one of these.

That's definitely something to consider. You'd think a bike like this might be deserving of a "real" horn from Suzuki.

was he trying to throw rocks on you by moving to the inside shoulder???

I didn't take it as that. He was staring at me in the mirror for a long time after i revved up. Had a sort of bewildered look on his face...

Happened to a group of us today coming home from OKC. One lady had both hands on the phone... lucky for us.. or she might have misspledde something

some nice big ball berrings that could have fell out of your pocket when you got in front of him would have got his attention. Always wanted to try that, guess my conciense would get the best of me is why I havent. Glad your OK. :) I know, spelling. :D

That whole clip looked staged to me, I think Dan planted the Dodge truck and staged the entire thing....lol

You got me...

Tim, I would never...

By the way, eBay has all sorts of ball bearings for sale!

Man,..........you have greater patience than I. I would have remembered his license plate number,........buzzed his driver's door at 12,000 RPM's,........gained some distance between he and I,.........pulled over and called HP to let them know there's a possible DRUNK DRIVER on the highway! BUT,.........that's just me!

Thats when i would have politely removed his side view mirror from his car...obviously he doesn't use or need it, and no need for ball bearings, crushed up spark plug ceramic works very nicely when accidentally falling out or you pocket onto their windshield:whistle:

not that i would know or anything:poke:

I hate old people cagers :banghead:

Clearly didn't see you.

Don't think drunk, went to the left shoulder probably while looking in mirror at you going "holy crap I just pulled out in front of a motorcycle I didn't see". Lucky for you they signalled and gave you the half second you needed to back off.

The most you can do in this case is pull up beside them and :watching: so the will understand they need to be more careful.

I think that's exactly what happened. It looked like he understood that he had really messed up.

I can fault a person for nearly taking me out, but I can't get REAL angry about it if you can tell they are clearly contrite about it, unless they are doing something stupid (drunk, texting, etc.). A semi-friendly "Hey, your lack of attention can kill me, please look out for motorcycles" is about all you can do.

For those who keep recommending "I'd kicked the car/thrown ball bearing" etc...remember this: You do NOT want to escalate just because you are mad; remember - you are on an exposed motorcycle, and they are inside a two-thousand pound, motorcycle eating death machine - and you lose under any circumstance. Get the license number and call it in if it's illegal.
