JFKSMITH RUN IN WITH DEALER

To all Hayabusa.org members, I have read the post my husband wrote about the worst dealer award. I realize that most of you have waited to hear a rebuttal or response from the dealership. I would like to tell you all that I was witness to the 90 percent of what happened from a seemingly pleasant dropping off of Johns bike, to my daughter and myself witnessing what I myself considered a verbal assault on him and my son .
John was in a really good mood when we walked in there as he ( against my wishes , wanted to finally open up his bike after this service thing). One thing about John is that he is polite, he is also honest and it takes more than a little to get him to be rude or aggressive and although this ended up with him literally almost ending up in a physical confrontation, I assure you that he talks very highly of this place as a group and everything that he wrote in his first letter to you, was 100 % true and no matter what they may say in a rebuttal. It will never change the facts of that day and that is that those people were rude to a person who I believe to be one of the easiest going people around.
I am glad that this incident did not turn physical because someone may have gotten hurt, and I always put my money on my husband for reasons I need not go into. It's just that John read some of your responses and being Mr.Sensitive thought that a couple may have doubted his sincerity. That dealership was completely out of line and was really lucky that John is the type of person he is , or there would have been a little more than screaming on his part. Sincerely Maryann Smith

Well Maryann... I can only say again, that the treatment he, well all of you, received was terrible. Particularly so because your children were there to see and hear it.. That stuff is completely uncalled for. I hope it all works out in 'your' favour by perhaps Suzuki acknowledging this indiscretion and trying to make it right for you (but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one).

This may be a wild leap, but I'm assuming that you won't be buying your next bike there...

Time to move on.

Steve

I heard of a woman named Lorena that cut her husbands meat.....

Its all good Maryann, John knows aboutthe board, it can be rough sometimes. Kind of like two brothers fighting.. its all in love

Nobody doubts what happened. When we say we would like to hear a response from the dealer it is so they can not say they did not have a chance to rebut. I doubt very much that they will even respond. Hopfully we can hurt them by not giving them any bussiness.

well , i dont cut my wifes meat but i would if she wanted me to. She kept me from going to the slammer that day by making me realize that thoses 2 lil voices i heard were my kids , scared, and asking me to leave. If not for those 2 i definitely may have made judgements detrimental to my kids looking up to me and I am glad I walked when I did. There are times for following up incidents like this. Rhode Island is a small state and there are bound to be bike show coming up sooner or later ...... funny how fate works,,,, and to all of you that have supported this situation, thanks alot and for those like rsd who is so muchgreater and couldnt lend a supportive word, always one of them...l

Good show John. You did the right thing walking. The bike show would be the right place to hang and let new potential victims, I mean customers know what that dealership is about.
It is amazing how a bad word travels about a dealer. You can always take your money else where. Good luck and my prasies for not going fist to cuff.

or we could talk about "rsd who is so much greater"

Thats not some inferiority complex rearing its ugly head is it?

you an' yer little bobo should just go to bed.

Next time I chime in , I'll be sure an' make it something like:
O little Johnnie, I'm soooo sorry you had a run in with the bad-man at the big bad dealership. What can I do...dry yer tears...wipe yer nose....

I had fun. Sorry you couldn't handle it. Maybe the dealership just treated you like the whiney blitch that you are

hav a cry baby 1......RSD.

P.S. why'd you send some joking PM , an' now post this?

get fugged......you are SO OFF the Christmas card list.

whiney LOSER.

I didnt mean it the way i wrote it and apologized in a pm to you. I am pretty new and am still getting the first couple week bashing, ask rev, thrasher, vabusa, but i got a snorkel so as not to drown so quickly. Hope you accept it but if not thats ok too, it wasnt sent out gratuitously and most issues dont get to me but the kdis were there so I have been a little sensitive about it and really wanted some good advice, not patronizing feedback. Just never had anything like this happen and figured I would get some good advice from this place .... again accept my apologie and I will go back into my corner...

hey JFK.......Rubbah loves ya man! He only gives that much crap to the people he really likes......Thats why he never responds to anything I say

Heck, if I could find Rhode Island on the map I might ride up there to the next bike show just to see what happens. I could wear my shirt that says: "Yes, I work for the Postal Service, Go Ahead, Make My Day."

Just kidding.... You be safe now and let this one pass. Just start spreading the word about how bad this shop treated you and your family. It is the most powerful tool in business!

Here is the reply from the dealership.  Not edited, like it or not, I am surprised they send a reply.

What I am shocked at is the e-mail that went to them from a member of H.org.  The letter is so bad that I can not even post it with out leaving just 3 words.  Not a good way to use H.org and certainly not a way to get any kind of reply.  The bottom line is even with you being right, this would come down to a he said she said.

"Dear Sir:

I felt we should reply to your inquiry regarding your member with the Hayabusa. This will be our only reply and you may post it if you wish.  We will not get into a he said, she said but it seems this story has been embellished quite a bit.

The customer came to our dealership and was asked a simple question.  Did you purchase the bike from us? (we asked the question because we could not find him in our database and had no info on the bike), he did not answer our question but instead started saying bad things about the dealership he had purchased the bike from and then proceeded to say …and what the _does it matter anyway.  I just need my _ bike serviced.  It was at this point that words were exchanged but at no time did the personnel of the dealership use profanity.  It was the customers continued use of profanity that he was asked to leave the building.

Thank you for your time.

Honda Suzuki World"

"I am also forwarding one of the e-mail letters we received.  Is this a sampling of your membership?"

All I have to say is read my original post, I have not or would never  embellish my story, If the dealer feels they can get out of this by typing a 2 paragraph , " I didnt say that " and you guys choose to believe them, then I picked the wrong post. Honda/Suzuki world knew where I bought my bike because the service writer had it written next to my name on the schedule. No trouble was started until the owner came out and asked the service writer whos bike that was. Why in the world would I go in there saying bad things about my dealership, the only thing I ever said about my dealership while in honda/suzuki world was that they couldnt get me in until august so they told me to try your dealership to see if you could fit me in earlier... I have nothing bad to say about MTR Racing so for honda/suzuki world to try and turn this around then good for them. On the other hand , my wife posted her own thoughts on this confrontation and if you believe that I would make up a story, and then ask my wife to write a story to cover up mine, that is wrong. I stand by my story 100 %. I am not the type of person to tarnish others thru spoken words or typed words for that matter. And no sled I didnt write them a vulgar letter. That is not how I handle things, even in my original post I only used exact language that was used in the store. I left there vowing never to use their company again and stand by that.... john
