Jinkster, you the man

Mike, not to go OT on original thread, but since its posted in here...   What spring should a 160-170lb rider be looking for?  I dont do track time, mostly pleasure rides, and some quarter mile blasts in the near future.  Thanks.  And being decently mechanically inclined, are the fork springs something I can do, or need to take to a shop?
At 160-170lbs you are on the boarder line of two spring rates. Depending on your personal preferences I would recommend 1.05kg springs if you prefer a little softer ride or 1.10kg springs if you want a little firmer more aggressive ride. From how you described your riding habits I would lean towards the 1.05kg springs.

Mike thanks for chimming in on this thread.
No problem.
Anytime.

Mike.

I'm a track guy here. Weigh 225lbs before gear. I'm on the stock springs and the preload is socked down completely. I still experience a little bottoming in hard braking corners and the Busa feels a little soft around double apexes. I hear the rear is sprung ok and the front will need lots of help.

Just wanna know what packages you offer for us beasts that crave the twisty side of things.

gtrpimp,

I'm going to shoot you a PM.  I do not want to step on any toes or make any waves in the pond.  If a moderator tells me it's ok to post prices and packages we have available then I will be more then happy to do so.
Thanks!
