Just another trip to Virginia Beach

Va Beach looks just like i remember it...flat, no surf. And how many times are they going to rebuild the pier? I remember every few years half of it would wash away from a nor easter or hurricane.

Monster trucks...great times but I never seen them at an event outside an arena. Thanks for sharing

Sweet! I've always wanted to go see those trucks run. Seeing it on the beach would be an even bigger plus. And I guess I'm getting old. A 19 year old girl to me just sounds like a bundle of emotions and issues. Gimme a 29 year old with her head on straight any day.

And shame on you for not emailing me the pics of the hotties on the beach in the bikinis!

FastCurrey - I don't know how many times they've rebuilt that pier, but I can say that the money dumped in to the boardwalk is money very well spent...they have live bands every weekend on the boardwalk, open air bars, tons to see and do...

NV - for a few minutes there, I felt as if I were watching wrestling with those quad racers

VB, I haven't been to Va Beach since I left the Amphib Base back in 76. I'm certain it's changed more than I care to admit since I saw it last. Spent a lot of great weekends on that beach. Thanks for the shots.

What base were you at, if you don't mind my asking? My dad worked at a couple in VA beach area.

Yeah, the "can't pass this point more than once in two hours" BS is silly...prevents the whole point of having a strip to cruise LOL

They also have posted all along the strip "no cursing" signs

They're little white signs, lots of symbols with a circle/slash over 'em...wish I had a pic 'cause they crack me up every time...
