Just bought a hayabusa please help

Either someone did the worlds worst seal job on a tank with what I can see zero rust or it’s something else. I’m trying to get that one glob out it’s super hard so I’m still on a liner like everyone else thinks. Man if first owner paid for that I feel sorry for the quality of work he got and in return now me

There was a post a while back of a jilted lover who poured something in the tank of their ex's bike thus wrecking the tank...

One always has to wonder......

Got some out really weird kinda like a silicon caulk like product. Gonna try and find a product that dissolves it on contact to try and make removal as easy as possible

Crazy.....

It's either a liner gone wrong or someone sabotaged the tank with something....
It’s a liner gone extremely wrong. Makes sense now, home done liner they tried to get it all along the tank failed then left tank sitting upside down on table or bucket with too much excess liner within tank. maybe they didn’t follow manufacturer instructions for curing liner conditions so it all settled at deepest point of tank while upside down, Hardened up and bam. Looks like they didn’t properly clean tank when they lined it as well bunch of particles within liner. Gotta figure out how to remove liner. So far acetone does absolutely nothing to it. Really hope I don’t have to use crazy strong acid to clean it

Makes one wonder why they wanted to have a liner in the first place.....

That would be the biggest worry...
