Just got back from my weekend at Buttonwillow

I was right behind a slower rider, preparing to pass him, and a much faster rider passed us both on the inside at the entry to turn 7. I thought maybe the guy ahead of me might panic and slow so I covered the front brake.... ready just in case. Sure enough the guy slows down abruptly in the apex of the turn[/Quote]
I had EXACTLY the same thing happen to me in T10 at Thunderhill on June 9 ......except that there were TWO Ricky racers behind me who didn't see the row of 5-6 bikes accordion-ed up between T10-11. I had a choice of submarining jack*** #1 or torpedoing dipstick #2. I went for what was behind door #2 and went over the bars at 70 mph. Good on you for a sharp recovery!!!
Oh and....your form looks really good.....despite being a bit tall for that little GSXR

FWIW: Better last week than next. Supposed to be 110+ shortly.

Playing around with a photoeditor trying to unblurr this pic a little.

Can you tell which is which??

(cosmo @ Jul. 02 2007,20:48) I prefer pic #1....it isolates a sharp image (you) in a blury background.

That was the one I modified. I wanted to see if you guys could tell

If I sharpen it any more, it'll shows lines that were never there. I think that's the limit for focusing it on the bike.

All depends on the rider

If the riders are equal, then the 1000 is the fastest bike on the track.  But also the most difficult to ride.

Almost forgot...

To all you guys who were thinking of being original, its been done at a trackday now
tounge.gif
Happened in the rider's meeting.  All I can say now is...
