Just wanted to say.....

I'm going to go ahead and chime in here. I'm on this site almost everyday, although I don't post much, so take it for what it's worth. I'm sure slick is a big boy and can make his own decisions, who are we to judge? We should all wear gear all the time and encourage those that don't to do so, but we shouldn't think any less of them if they don't. We all do pretty stupid stuff. I don't wear my seat belt all the time. That's pretty stupid. Anyway, I just hate so see people fighting over silly stuff. Slick, you should wear your gear, but I'm sure your aware of the consequences if you don't. Your decision, not ours.

Also, yes, it's very nice to live in Florida. Just back from a ride myself. This is my second winter living here since moving from Chicago. It pains me to even think about spending another winter there. Have fun out there guys and gals, and be safe.

I was station in S.D., for 7 years and it has better riding areas than florida and the chicks wear those cow girl jeans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll give up Florida for S.D. any day!

hahahaha........ Lets go tell professional riders how to ride, they dont know "shid" because they dont post here.  I guess my riding time and experience no longer come into play, since I post on this forum and all?

?? BUT....I am getting smarter I guess because here is another post.  Its funny because I defend myself against you calling me a squid I know "shid" as you put it.... As far as answers go, there were no questions as far as I am concerened...  I agree riding with gear is a tons safer and more then half the time I do wear it.  My whole problem is your attitude towards me.

Atleast you wear a helmet. Would you, even if there wasn't a law?[/Quote]

In Fl it is not required to wear a helmet,  but yes i do wear it anyways and always no exceptions.

my attitude toward you is your entire nah nah - nah nah look at me in a t-shirt & shorts because it's warm outside attitude. That is squidly wether or not you'll admit it. And yeah if you were established and we knew you or speaking for myself if I knew you (here's where the post count comes into play) and knew you wore gear most of the time I wouldn't have come down on you. You know what they say about a first impression.

ps - Ask Pan about people here and how we feel about riding protected. It isn't a personal attack on you - It's about getting home safe to be able to ride again tomorrow.

It was just meant as friendly ribbing for those up north that is all.. If it was taken as more I apologize...The statement with shorts and t-shirt was used to add more emphasis on the beautiful weather... And yes 1st impressions are important I agree. I dont see how you can judge who I am from a 1 sentence statement but thats your opinion so okay..All i ask is to look at your statement through my eyes as well. I wish you ALL happy riding and get home safe... P.S. If it makes you all feel any better its suppose to rain tommorow

Hey Slick, isn't a cold front coming through this week-end? Might be mid 60's for the lows. I might have to put my liner back in my jacket again..........
