kickstand mod

I put the notch in my stock kickstand before I bought the adjustable stand. I had it like that for months and never had a problem with the integrity of the stand or it breaking and slipping all the way forward. It allowed the bike to lean over more when parked and it felt more stable on inclines. I only changed to the adjustable because I polished my rims and liked the way it looked....

It works!!! Easy too. Here is a pic of the mod on my '01.
