kill time on auto shifter

Hey guys,I just installed a mps autoshiferon my 02 busa.my mods are just a brocks pipe and pc for now.The question i have is I set the kill time as low as it can go and still shifts under full throttle.is the common? Alot of the time I see post about kill time people are always trying to find that "sweet spot". and also will I have to add kill if I hit it with the funny gas?

I had to add a little kill time on the juice, but as long as it is shifting just fine and the bike doesn't feel like it is kiling the engine too long i would leave it just like it is.
