100/300 coverage with uninsured motorist and (YOU SHOULD ALL HAVE THIS BUT YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR IT)

UNDERINSURED MOTORIST

Do NOT go without UDM coverage.

State Farm: $320 /yr 38 years old with one speeding ticket.

We have our house, three cars, and two bikes with them, so that helps us out. MSF rider course can also help your insurance.

Harley Davidson Ins wanted $1329 per year to cover the Busa, so they lost the H-D and I switched it to State Farm also.

Good luck!

Progressive was very cheap with my Harley ($150/yr), but it jumped drastically when I bought the Busa ($800/yr)...my agent told me about a guy that was quoted $15,000+ for a policy...

I would definitely shop around some more...I'm going to start looking around soon myself...

Keep shopping!

BTW...

That is full coverage along with the uninsured/underinsure coverage, plus 250 deductible.

Make sure your quotes are apple-apples with your coverage limits also.

i'm 23 in atl and pay about 800 per year for full coverage through state farm... if you want more info, email me. i'd be happy to let you know which agent i use, they have always been very fair with me

I have farm bureau and I pay about 800 a yr for my busa....but then again I'm under 25 and unmarried with a few tickets on my record....ahh well...

Well it seems to be like state farm is going to be my best bet. I can't believe some of yall guys are getting it so dang cheap. I wish I were getting cheap quotes. Well I will check out state farm and let yall know how the quote turned out. thanks for the help.

Find out how to join USAA, that's seems to be your best bet as of right now.  Also, where did you hear Progressive provides INSURANCE for USAA?:super:?
THE LADY AT USAA TOLD ME WHEN I CALLED TO GET THE QUOTE.  I ASSUME SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT BEING SHE WORKS THERE.
Are you Sure We're talking about the same USAA... You know you have to be Millitary or prior military? They are a Major insurance agency and their policies are owned by them...So I think you got something crossed up or the lady was smoking something.

Besides if this we're the case, when Progressive offers me $3800 directly how would they come down to $800 roughly Going through USAA for a better plan?

Where you live plays a huge roll in Insurance costs as well. Tampa is expensive but if you live out in the sticks like a couple of you must based on your Supposed premiums then you can expect to pay less.

Also I would like to make certain that we are all talking about annual policies here, not 6 month and not seasonal, cool? Because some of the rates above are either complete Bullsh^t or numbers for just liability or something.

I have State farm as well. Just got off the phone with my agent. My policy is $548.20 a year. And I also asked them about the rest of Colorado, and they said that they will insure aynone in the state. So for you Colorado peeps, if you want his name/number let me know and will give it to ya.  Also State Farm doesn't penalize for the type of bike, just based on engine size. It just went up because Colorado went from no-fault to fault based (are we like the last state to do this?)

Later :beerchug:

I had called over when getting Ins. for my Busa. I had quote's as high as $9000. I got State Farm who only charged me $352 a year for full coverage and no other vehicles on my policy. I switched to USAA who is charging me $105 every six months. You have to keep calling around.

All of my policy's used to be for a year, now they all switched to six month policy's for some reason.

I.O.W.A. Idiots Out Wondering Around.

Nah Just playing, Lived in Omaha for 4 years. Insurance doubled when I moved to Florida.
But On the Upside, I bet I see more hotties running around wearing just a little bit than you do on a daily basis....

Hard to beat Rural insurance rates though...

I can't argue with that....I didn't have many offers too choose from when I got my engineering posistion so I ended up in the state I grew up in....I hate winters here but I guess I'll live....Give me some time to save some money for more mods!!!!!

These insurance companies are nuts. Progressive qouted me over $2000 a year for full coverage and I already have auto's with them, and a clean record. Whats up with that? They probably over qoute to scare off what they call a "gauranteed payout" or you just pay and they cash in. I am not a big fan of how most insurance companies behave. They tout service and protection when their undisputed goal as a business model is to payout as little as possible on everything. Just remember this the next time an insurance company tries to settle a claim with you. JT2!
