Guys, I'm not sure how many of you know Darryl and Lori Cannon from Robbinsville, NC, aka Killboy and Killgurl to the Bashers. Here's the info from the East Tn Riders Forum:
Saturday 9:42 pm
She has a fractured left wrist and some other bumps and bruises but she is in great shape overall.
The short story is a cruiser with highway bars blew a corner and crashed into her just as she was comming around a blind right hander at the Gap.
I went over to UT with Killboy and stayed for a bit.
She will need surgery on the wrist for sure.
The guy admitted fault and he said he has good insurance.
Sunday 2:11 pm
Hey everyone, Darryl here. Thanks a ton for your thoughts and offers to help. Lori is doing pretty well, still waiting to go into surgery...should be any minute. They had a busy night last night, and some of the folks had more serious injuries, so they're getting to them first.
The facilities and people here have been great. They're doing all they can to make her feel better, and lots of drugs.
Sunday 8:54 pm
Hey folk, got back from surgery just a couple of hours ago. Everything went great and Lori is feeling pretty good...still a bit of pain but they have her on the morphine machine. She's got 5 screws, 2 pins, and 1 plate in her left arm now, so she's bionic woman!
Thanks again for all the support, we love you guys.
Just another reminder here at the beginning of the season to keep your eyes open. We don't always have control of the situation. There are almost always other folks involved in these accidents.
