Backside for not telling a fellow Org member about those dayum Michelin Pilot Power Tires.... NOW I know why they call you the Train! Cause, when you run a set of these on the bike it feels like its riding on Rails......
smile.gif

Seriously, these tires rock! The Busa just begs to be leaned over and stroked through a hard corner.....
Thanks BT for pointing me in the right direction and to everyone else who mentioned these tires.

Lol... I saw that title and thought... "What the fug have I done now?"

The Powers are GREAT, huh? I've pretty much sorted out my preferred pressures on the 10 with them now and it's ridin' friggin' SCHWEEEET! 32front/40 rear seems just right... They grip like glue so far and as you said, they just BEG for lean. As long as they make Powers I have no reason to try anything else.
biggrin.gif

Oh, and whew! Glad the thread title was a joke!

HMMM, I keep reading the Chapperal post and wondering if I should. The stock tires only have 2500 on them and look really good but then all you guys keep bragging about how much better she feels on something else. What to do? What to do!

Get some Powers and keep the stockers for decent "spares"... Or, burn the back one off... on video... get some Powers, and never look back. Either way, you'll thank yourself for it.

Now BT you can't go bragging about your Pilot Powers until you've worn those damn chicken strips down to the bitter edge! Last time I saw those puppies the chicken strips were at least an inch and a half wide
tounge.gif

Do your practicing on those ole cheap pilots and once you get those chicken strips rolled out past the bitter edge, try yourself a set of BT014's and you'll never go "French" again

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! This is the fourth brand tire I've tried and I must admit; Its Hands Down the best so far.

Well I just don't understand it. I put Powers on my Busa back in September and recommended them in like 4 or 5 which tire threads and even a anyone have opinions on the new powers thread. I said they were bad ass and couldn't believe how much different my Busa felt. What kind of responses did I get? Don't buy Michelin they are made by the French or I prefer the Diablos. Oh well at least when Train says it people believe it I guess.

For $213.70 TYD you can't go wrong! Get 'em and as BT said use the stockers for spares. Almost the best deal I have seen on a set.

Hey KS,

You got me good. Spent a couple of days on other sites and there was so much trash talk it just made me want to puke. Then I found this site and dont have to go lookin anymore.

Thanks for keeping it clean gang. I even let my kids go through the site.

Kevin, your right on the money!

Oh I didn't take it as disrespect. The only thing that it made me realize is that a lot of people on this board have a lot of hatred built up for the french. lol. But now that you got em I hope you enjoy em. I have a buddy with a CBR that is wanting to put dunlops on his bike soon and I told him if he knew the POWER of the POWERS he would regret it. If he wasn't so freaking small I'd let him take my busa out and try it.

LMAO! Thats hilarious dude!

what kinda milage do you get on a set BT?
rock.gif
I'm ordering a set of them .... think I'm gonna get another M1 since I still have good tread on the current M1 front, then replace both front and rear with the Powers in a few months after wearing them both down. I'm curious though if I need to get 2 rears of the powers now ... .at these prices its almost like buy a rear, get the front free

Not sure yet. On the busa at around 800 miles the Powers had just lost the little rubber teets that come on them. Didn't seem to be wearing hardly any at all. The set I have on the 10 now have around 500 miles and still have the teets. For comparison, the teets were gone from the stock D218's after my first ride. I swear, the Powers just don't seem to wear much at all...
