Hi Guys,
Sorry I haven't been on the board for awhile. Life has been crazy up here. We've just started organizing our riding season and had our first meeting with our group. Thinker do you still have those extra rooms saved at Good Nite Inn. If you do can my group have them. I'm not sure how many people will be coming down now because of what's been happening. It's silly but people are backing out of going but there's about eight of us stilll going. I tryed to book with them but nothing seems to come up. If not, that's okay because we still have our rooms in monterey but I thought it would be more fun staying with you guys. Can you let me know...we've decided to arrive on Thursday as well. Thanks Thinker.

I am going to Laguna Seca again this year and would like to join the group attending World Superbike for a beer or two............... I am in Truckee California near Lake Tahoe. Every year I ride down with some friends. Where will you guys be collecting in Monterey? That is if you don't mind.

Hey Big E,
You might try Carmel for hotels or bed and breakfasts. Not cheap. Or you can go to Salinas to find a motel. Laguna is about half way between Salinas and Monterey/Carmel. These are about 15 minutes away. Or if those are all full, then try up hwy 1 toward Santa Cruz. Collinga, Watsonville, Rio Del Mar, Capitola and the small neghboring town are about 30 minutes north of Marina which is the closest town to the track. You can also camp at the track if they have any space left. Go on-line to laguna seca website for details.

Well, you could read 6 pages of threads and get an idea, or e-mail me and I will send you a synopsis...greg.hall@flir.com I have a spreadsheet listing all the people coming, where they are from, where they are staying...etc.

I knew this would happen, so I booked extra rooms. I can't remember if I have one or two. I will check. First choice goes to my friend Swan, but if she takes it, she can give you her reservation at the other hotel she had on Cannery Row. Let me talk to julia first.

yes we do taking the same one as we did before, HWY 101 all the way down, its a simple route but lots of fun.

It's me..thanks for your quick response. I'm been trying to round up our little group but seems like people are bailing..oh well, a few of us are still interested. Can I have the two extra rooms that you have, we actually need three. If someone cancells do you think there will be a third one free. Canadians are a bit strange...they have a hard time making a commitment. As for trading rooms with some else...its not a problem but we're booked in rooms that are $299US. If that's not a problem then they're all yours. Let me know if that's okay with you guys.

We rode down the 101 last year and Bog wants to try inland. He's an adventurer so I can't really commit at this point. Maybe closer to the time, I can give you a clearer answer, but thanks alot for the offer..I would love to ride with you guys..but Bog loves to discover new roads.
All I know is it's getting closer and we're busy getting ready for race season up here so the Laguna trip has been on the back burner lately but I just realized it's only three months away. So don't forget about us...we're still coming.
