Latest addition to the family

This little guy was born yesterday. We named him Patrick, thought it was fitting. We've got at least 8 more lambs on the way.

Black Sheep of the family huh?? ADORABLE.... I grew up with GOATS... I used to LOVE the babies... but they were ALWAYS born in the dead of winter!!

Yeah, the cold is not good.  We lost 3 lambs last year because of it.  They were born when the weather was decent, the next day a cold front came thru and got down to 20 below.  The only one that we could save had to be brought in the house and bottle fed til he was weened.  So every 2 hours Whipkrakr was up feeding this lamb.  This year things are going alot smoother as we scheduled the breeding a little better for later delivery dates.
