LED Mods On My '08

could not pass up the opportunity to post this pic again...
This is the self stick led strips stuck to the inside of the fairings, except for the 2 above the back tire, those are directly on the frame there (I don't have the stock inner fender)

I also added 3" strips in the turn signal housing, but had to add a resistor inline to those to dim them down a bit to closer match the reflected light from the rest. (one set shows the turn signal lights without the resistors and you can see they are brighter)

I did not put any in the lower side opening, as it seemed really close to the exhaust.
I did cut the stock wires and add connectors near the lights, so I could remove the plastic.

I have 10 light strips total.

Those pics look SICK! Nicely done, definitely gets two thumbs up have you seen the bikes that have the kanji sign cut out with a gorilla glass replacement so the light shines thru, it would set the bike apart with that but I can't say it's not already set apart lol nice job

I usually use these on all my bikes these are great cheap. all it takes is a little soldering . They can be cut into 3 light sections

get a sportbike kit from custom dynamics. think i paid a 100 bucks, but the lights are very bright and excellent quality. comes with everything u needed to install.

I put these on my Katana:

I don't like how the pods emit spots of light.
These are water proof and flexible so you can bend them around things or if the surface you're trying to stick them to is curved.
They came with little plastic clips that stick with double sided foamy tape.
Here's a couple pics of the Katana, you can see in the one where you could see the strip, the frame was right there prohibiting me from mounting it any lower.

I put the same strips on my bike, but I found them on ebay for $1.50 shipped ea from china for the 24cm strips. I just looked at a few of them the other day and they have gone up in price on ebay as well. I have $30 worth of those strips on my bike
