And another day closer. Started this morning pulling off Sheetrock due to a plumbing leak. Called the plumbers and they were Johnny on the spot. Actually have some walls up now.

Very nice...I dont mind hanging drywall...i hate finishing.

Seems as though o progress has been made however we might get texture on the ceiling today.

Most of the ceiling is done so the cabinets can get installed tomorrow. Made a quick table out of Sheetrock and saw horses to grill, with the bike as a special guest lol

We skimmed the ceiling because none of the beams were level and needed to get a bulge out of one of the joints

GOt one light installed today and a double outlet box added for counter stuff. Granite and appliances tomorrow and flooring on Monday. It’s coming together

Lights and counters installed. Paint rest of ceiling tomorrow then install final 4 lights and under cabinet lighting. Flooring on Monday. Man I will be glad to be done

Thanks. The skills are not mine, they are the people helping me. I am learning as we go. I can build a 1000hp car no problem. Cutting something straight however........ lol

I'm with you there...measure twice, cut once-mess that up, throw the saw, throw the wood and stomp around is about the size of it for me.

More like measure 12 times cut once, throw it all away, but new tools cause those must be broken. Rinse , repeat, say fudge it and have a beer, with pie

The journey is nearing phase 1 completion. The ability to fully move in and use all areas. We have been solely living out of the up stairs. Even the coffee pot is in the bathroom lol. Phase 2 is painting and putting on base boards and touch ups. Pics to follow
