lets see them lighted up busas.

I've got some ordered but still waiting on them. But dont worry, I'll be posting pics when I'm done installing em.

And you dont have them installed and pics yet.

What seems to be the hold-up

its not a kit. I ordered ten of these smd-led strips off ebay. They're really thin and flexible and have 3m adhesive already on the back but I still have to get some wire and a fuse to wire them up. I did however, already run 3 of them above and behind the front wheel and juiced em up just to see what it was going to look like. Very nice:thumbsup: Cant wait to get the rest in place and hooked up. They're red so I was worried about them not being bright enough...especially because of how small they are but they actually suprised me and I have a whopping $21 in the whole thing...shipping and all:cheerleader:. I'll try to post up some pics I took while I was testing the strips as soon as wifey gets off the laptop so I can pull them off my phone.

here are some pics. excuse the quality as these were taken with my camera phone. You can see how thin and small these things are...really didnt expect much light but wow. As you can see...it does ok and thats just one strip lit up! Each strip is only 11 inches long and holds 15 smd-leds. They are waterproof and come with 3-M adhesive on the back. I payed a total of $21 for ten of these strips(150 leds) incuding shipping. these are the exact same strips that other ebay companies are selling for upwards of $10 apiece shipped and that certain, more wellknown auto lighting companies are repackaging and selling for $20+ per strip:whistle:. Ebay rocks.

Those do look good.

Would you still happen to have the name of the place you got them from off Ebay.

I have installed the LED strips and modules on my Harley Davidson fatboy, but I have never installed their Hyperlights. What is the difference with the Hyperlights and the flexible LEDs. Also, where would you put them on the Hayabusa?

The hyper stips use a 5mm bulb so they are much brighter. For placement...here you go:beerchug:

In the tail section...I plan to change the 3s to 6s so the glow is as strong as the ones up front.

heres the one I bought. He has now changed these to $2 with free shipping so they're acually 9 cents apiece cheaper shipped.
15 LED Red Flexible Strip Waterproof Car Light Bulb:eBay Motors (item 110460541392 end time Dec-21-09 10:46:41 PST)

Just for reference, I was in walmart today and they have the exact same strips but in a fancy package for $15!!!!! And I mean Identical, right down to the 3M adhesive on the back. As I stated before, there are some "high end" lighting companies on the net that are selling these for over $20 each. Fair warning, they seem to work well for local lighting but suck for longrange directional. As an example, they seem to light up the front end and area under the tail very well but I'm going to be swapping out the ones I put in my fairing vents for pods probably.Heres a pic of the same product overpriced at walmart.

I'm seriously thinking about buying these and some 5 led pods in bulk from hong kong and putting together some kits to sell. Could light up a bike as bright or brighter than most of the $100 kits, sell for about $50 a kit and still double my money. Just dont know if I want to put that much effort into it.
