Lets see your crank case breathers!

Oil blows out of mine pretty good when I beat on it. I finally have all my oil leaks fixed 'cept for the crank case breather. If I baby it, its fine, but when I beat on it, it blows out. Especially at higher boost levels. Oil blowing out really good today at 18 psi. Enough for 4 or 5 different spots of oil hitting the ground on the left side. I have tried the little one that came with the ultra kit but it becomes soaked and pores right on out. Any suggestions? I was thinking of just taking a hose and running it out to the subframe and putting a bigger breather on it. I also have a low pro cover laying around but it seems like it made it worse.

I have just the one they give you in the kit...a little k n thing...I just have a stage 1 so maybe that is a different case

I have a dme swing arm with a built in air tank. Guess I could use that. Would need to drill a hole in the bottom for a drain. Do you have any pics?

Also, I'm thinking I overfilled the oil a little.

I used the air tank on my arm. I drilled and tapped for -10 fittings on top. One has the hose in from the case and the other has a breather. Then I drilled and tapped for a -6 on the bottom then put an AN cap on that. I'll try and post some pics tomorrow.

id like to see that

It works very well this way i think. I didnt need the air tank anymore and i didnt have to add something else to the bike to do whats its doing now. I was also told it helps with draining being in the swingarm since its lower that the case. Sorry if the pics are blurry.

I have a McIntosh IB pro arm sitting in the garage that has the catch can setup similar to what Ragu585 has. I have a McIntosh IB pro arm on my street turbo busa, but it does not have the breather setup on it. the motor in it now has a stock bottom end that has never ben apart. I have quite a few 14-16 psi passes on it and it has not blown any oil out the breather filter. I have a hays performance flat breather cover on and a 1/2'' line to a k&n breather filter up below the plenum in front of the throttle bodies. My old turbo gsxr 1000 I ran up to 23psi. At first it had a breather right on top of the low profile cover. It would blow a decent amount of oil out it. I put the filter up on the side of the subframe. it would still soak the filter and blow some oil out of it. I then ran the line up between the throttle bodies and put the filter in front of the TB under the plenum. No more oil out the breather. So I just automatically did the same setup to begin with on my turbo busa.
