license plate illumination

Has anyone seen any lighting for plates that doesnt involve wiring. Im not interested in hiding wiring behind my chrome swingarm. Battery operated with a magnet maybe.

u could possibly rig up somethin to run off batteries but the magnet idea should be banished from your mind unless u wanna make a bunch of whatever idea ya come up with since you'll no doubt lose em often......just my .02

You could use those little wiper jets that they use on show cars.

Why would you be hiding wiring behind your swingarm ? It all runs through your tail.???

i'll take it for grated that your plate is on your swingarm? if so, what I did is drill a small hole in my undertail and used a single white led that projects a light beam directly onto the plate, tapped into the tail light harness at rear and you have license plate lighting

Thats a really good idea!! Hope it lights up the side plate mount from that far away!!

thats what i'm saying, i got the swing arm plate and the led lights it up like christmas. and the led is inside the undertail, so it's just a matter of proper positioning, but it'll work.
