Like Gen1/2, adjust your headlights up!

I know it was common on the Gen1/2 for the headlight to not be aimed properly from the factory. My Gen3 was the same way and it sounds like most people's are. The bad alignment was only made even worse when I lowered my bike. To give any idea on how bad mine is/was, my low beam only threw light 25-30ft in front of me.

On previous bikes I removed the cover to adjust the alignment, but after I removed mine and THEN looked at the instructions I realized there's an access hole on the Gen3. Since my cover was already off, snapped some pics to share. Clockwise is move beam up, counter moves it down.

Yea I have been contemplating this . Our lights are great and super bright especially the highbeams. Just never reach out far enough. I have been looking for some sort of aux lights as well .

More light is never a bad thing on a bike, day or night. Definitely adjust your low beam first, for the 5min it takes it should make a huge improvement. I can finally see down the road and lighting feels how it should.
