litre bike category&forum request

for these reasons, mostly the poll.... I am going to put to sleep the thought of creating another section for litre bikes and the such.

All I can say is this site is Fantastic got on after cap but he then cache and the people that have been on here awhile have done a standup job keeping the Rif-Raff out. Good choice Cache.

most of em busa owners either own the gixxer or would opt for it as their second bike.. hence i would suggest a small section on this site for their benefit!!

Busa owners in general are an older more mature crowd than 1000 riders. I think this forum suits our style just fine the way it is......I don't think mixing a diff breed of rider with diff attitudes is going to help anybody in the long run. I say leave it as is. I HAVE BEEN RIDING SINCE I WAS 12 AND I'AM NOW 40 I HAVE OWNED SO MANY DIFFERENT BIKES I STOPPED COUNTING YEARS AGO. WHEN I DECIDED TO BUY A BUSA I WAS IN THE DARK THIS IS ONLY THE 2'ND SPORT BIKE I HAVE OWNED I HEARD ABOUT THIS SITE AND CAME HERE LOOKING FOR INFO LOTS OF INFO AND I FOUND IT AND THEN SOME. I TO HAVE BEEN TO SOME OF THE GIXXERS SITES AND FRANKLY YOU CAN TELL THAT THEY ARE YOUNG AND FULL OF PISS!!! THE CONFLICT THAT THIS MIGHT CAUSE COULD BE MORE THAN IT IS WORTH. I JOINED THIS SITE TO LEARN ABOUT BUSA'S AND THE WEALTH OF INFO IS GREAT. I DONT KNOW IF I WOULD HAVE JOINED IF THERE HAD BEEN A LOT OF OTHER STUFF TO SCROLLTHROUGH TO FIND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR,AND THAT SHOULD BE THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS SITE NOT ONLY TO INFORM BUT TO GET OTHERS TO BUY A BUSA AND JOIN THIS SITE. I CAN TELL YOU THAT AS LONG AS I CAN RIDE I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER TYPE BIKE AND YES I MAY BE A 70 YEAR OLD SOME DAY BUT IF I STILL CAN I'LL TWIST HER TO THE PEG EVERY CHANCE I GET!!!! SO CONSIDER ALL OPTIONS ON THIS MATTER IF YOU DO DECIDE TO DO IT MAYBE GIVE IT A 60 TO 90 DAY TRAIL PERIOD TO START AND LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT IF IT GETS OUT OF HAND JUST PULL THE PLUG AND LET THEM GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. EVERYONE RIDE FAST AND STAY SAFE.

it is getting to the point now i hate to see someone pull up on the 05 1000 gsxr because inherently they always say yea i bought it to stomp the busa and want to race, well i did roll on with one and they are real fast but stomp i think not it did pull me a little but didnt walk away when i think of stomp it would be like my busa raceing say a dyna wide glide or rebel or pocket bike also he let off before i did and i blew on past but i didnt stomp him and he didnt stomp me

I voted keep it the way it is - why? I'm new here and I joined because its a site devoted to one thing - Hayabusas and their owners thoughts and advice.
If I wanted to see what a GSXR1000 owner thought I'd go to their site.

I had a Fireblade and joined a dedicated site till they too let "other" in. It ruined it. We got the 600 boys chirping in with loads of rubbish and it turned into a bun fight between us and them.

This site aint broke so dont fix it - please...

I have no problem with it, but to address a previous question, how sternly are you going to moderate it?  I've been to the other gixxer sites and there content doesn't quite maintain the same standards this board has carried.

If you think you can bring in another forum with a possible YOUNGER fan base and keep it within the current BUSA board standards..............Then I'll say do it.
