All you daily riders out there... How long is your commute?

I commute from Garden Grove in O.C. (Orange County) to Sherman Oaks (The Valley) every day. 100 miles, round trip.
Wipe that envious look off your faces, this is SoCal... 50 minutes one way. :(
Anyone longer?

I live 45 twisty minutes from anywhere and everywhere! Geographical oddity!:cheerleader:

I do 120 a day roundtrip from Yucaipa to Santa Ana. I would say that your commute 50 Miles up the 405 has got to be the worst commute. I assume you do it on your bike.

San Diego to Phoenix (Monday)
Phoenix to San Diego (Friday)

So, it doesn't qualify, as it's not a 'daily' commute.

That's a long way, bro! You must ride it if it only takes you 50 minutes! In a cage you might spend hours on the slab!

:beerchug:

Aaaaaahhhhh................come on, Guys!! You are all riding Busa(s). You come stop time riding one of these. Maybe,.......the flux capacitors are broken! :poke:

110 miles one way. very few timesw I ever toojk the Busa when I had it or the VTX for that matter. I drive to the train station get on the train and then take a scooter to the office on the other end. I would rather be working from home. :(

2.8 miles... but it is each way... used to take me 20 minutes to get to work until I moved.. I save 1/2 hour a day in time and 2g of gas...
new house also has less than 1/5 acre to mow so save 4 hours a week in law mowing during summer..

1/2 hour a day commute time saved = 100 hours a year saved in time
2g*200= 400g fuel saved..
another 100 hours saved on landscape..

It was like getting another full month of free time back on my clock...

50M each way?... even on the bike, it would get old (and on the 405) yuk....

Scar do you ride Wasabi to phx?

Not yet, Mike. Not yet.

I'm torn between taking Peg (Pegasus, my 06LE) over there or Wasabi.

My feeling is (as I'm getting settled) that I'll take the Peg and leave her there for the duration, and ride Wasabi back and forth when I can.

Otherwise, as soon as I'm done quasi- 'moving in,' I'll more than likely fly more than use the slab. At least that's the plan at this writing.

How well I know your area. Left LA in '77 never to return. Had a place
below Griffith Observatory. Edgemont&LosFeliz, just down the road
from LaBianca murders. traffic wasn't so bad then. I Luv Nevada

In the car: 2 - 2.5, one way.
Thank the Good Lord for carpool lanes and lane splitting!:please:

I only have 11 miles one way. I wish I could ride my bike, but no place to park her and I have to dress nice for business meetings and such, makes it hard to gear up and ride to work.
