This is true.. there are a few twisties north of Tampa in the Pasco/Hernando/ and Citrus Counties~ A lot of the bikes congragate at the Hess on SR50 west of I75... east of Hwy41~ That's kind of the central location and a great spot for fill up on drink and fuel~ There are quite a few routes, to take and I won't/can't name all the roads, but we generally keep heading north from there and end up at a nice burgar/bar (Shamrock's) that is somewhere in Hernando Co. I think... or keep heading north and end up at this 50's style diner (Happy Dayz) off of Hwy41 in the Inverness area I believe~

I don't have my Busa anymore, but the wife (LadyHawk) still rides the chit off hers and the boy has his gixxer, so if you ever get over this side, I'd be happy to show ya'll these twisties out this way~

Fernandina is about 3 hours for me too. I'm heading to Jacksonville Friday to see a buddy of mine. He said he wants to see my reflectors.

i will be back in central florida in a couple weeks for school...i knew there was a "hot spot" where bikers gathered every wednesday night on the corner or goldenrod and university in orlando...as soon as i get back down there i will see for myself...

I'm always up for some group rides in FL. With all the Busa riders down here I'm surprised we really haven't had more. Unfortunately this time of year sucks...you can't go an entire day w/out hitting thunderstorms and I'm one of thos that abhores riding in the rain - it's just not pleasant and you can't ride how you would like.

I live just south of the aforementioned twisty roads north of Tampa so it's a quick trip to get to them for me. Having said that the people I typically ride w/ are either hit or miss on the weeekends, where as I'm game just about every Sat. and Sun. morning and I'll go through withdrawal if I go a whole weekend w/ out riding. Many times I'll just head out on my own because it becomes a pain in the @ss trying to coordinate everyone's schedules.

Hit me up if anyone gets one planned.

So far, 0 calls, 0 e-mails, 0 excuses to why they can't. I guess I should buy a chopper for meet and greets.

I'm leaving again on Monday for a couple of weeks, but I am off today.

PM me anytime for weekend "RIDES"...meaning I don't mind meets as long as there is a lot of riding involved as well. Just hanging around a parking lot all night isn't my idea of fun when I'mout on the Busa.

Again, weather wise this time of year is horrible regarding the rain.
