Well My friend Brian Klock from Klockwerks cycles has decided he wants to take his busa out on the flats.

His Gal ran the Bagger up in the 150 mark out there this past year and now she wants to run a busa over 200. and he has instagated my help to build the bike up for this.

So this is the run down just what i'm think they are not looking at setting a record just wants to say they did 200

04 busa with stage 1 turbo RCC or Ghetto, multi stage boost controler, 6 in extended swing arm, and lowered. and the of course any other small mods that may be needed we have a 6 in over tail section also granted i'm not sure if we need to do the lengthing or not but it probly would not be a bad idea right?

I am also planning on taking my 02 RCC stage 2 turbo bike out there also i just plan to lower it thought i'm being cheap i guess now i have thought about bolt on extensions but not sure if they will allow them or not? anyone have a clue?

any other suggestion would be nice thanks all

lets see these bikes...

I heard it might be a good idea to run with a brick for traction. Noonan ran with one on each side of the swingarm and I believe you can buy the mount for in front of the rear tire at schnitz . Goldenchild might be able to get one. Wheel spin is a big problem as the air gets under your tires at that speed . You shouldn't have any problem with the turbo getting you there . I plan on having at least 240hp and will gear around 18/38 . I should be able to get to 215 . I HOPE!!!!!

Also a taller tire like a corsa might help .

Yeah i heard about the weights for the swing arm brian was telling me about them also so we plan to look into them.

Granted my concern now what i listed above is what i told him was a sure fired way to get there. But i don't know if in the end he is gona wana spend the coin for a turbo. It sounds good to him at first then i think when he will see the price tag he may do alittle rethinkging.

So now i'm looking into cost of putting cams and a good pipe on the bike. and then probly run a 40-60 shot of nos possible more.

All depends on what he's gona allow for budget as of right now i guess.

As for what the bikes look like His is sitting in a bunch of pieces on my shop floor lol i've been waiting for him to get me parts to just finish the darn thing as a stock busa and now this idea has come up so who knows how it's gona look in the end

but here is mine for the most part prior turbo modificaion but looks the same except for the wheels and the pipe

granted i will probly put some diffrent body work on it to run it on the salt flats though
