I have not actually seen a busa in person lowered but I like the look a lot from the pics. Not to many busa's around here. I want to do that but can anyone comment on how that would affect cornering issues. I frequent the dragon each year and I am looking at getting some track days in next year so I can lean to do some knee dragging properly. How would that affect this? BY the way. One sweet looking ride dadofthree. Lowered looks mean!!

I would not lower the bike for the track. But it doesn't take long to go from stock to slammed and back, so you could raise it back up as part of your track day prep if you want it lowered for the street.

If you ride the dragon agressively, I wouldn't lower it at all.

Looks good do3. Try adding some preload to the rear shock. It'll bring the back up a little bit and may give you the extra clearance you need.

Just my 2 cents. My experience when adding spring preload,......you should add a couple of clicks to the shock dampening and compression. I've had issues with the rear wanting to "pogo" or wiggle in certain extreme riding. Adjustments are easy to get to,........at the top and bottom of the rear shock,........and need a flat-blade screwdriver. (the cool thing about adjustability,........IF you don't like it,......put it back where it was!!) Ride ON!!!!
