lowering links ?

I have the screw type adjustable lowering links from schnitz racing good product just be sure to measure both sides the same when adjusting.
 
i got my links from soupy...damn things are bullet proof and at 90 bucks shipped you cant beat the price

Nah bob hasnt even been on a ride with me yet...i should go by and shoot th shid with him again. Does he still work at the post office
 
I just purchased a 05 gray and black hayabusa, it is my 1st serous bike. I wiegh 270 will the bike scrap if I lower it to the lowest link hole? Also what can you guys tell me about the swingarm bolt-on adjustable extensions? Thanks hope to use this forum in the future.

Yes, it will bottom out over speed bumps, etc. You might even have trouble at the rear of the bike.

UPDATE: Bought some adjustable links "like" the ones Schnitz sells and they stripped out. If you buy some get the ones Spencer Cycles has. They 're all steel, much stronger.

Not gonna slam the company, so I'm not gonna name call.

Again, mine were "like" the ones Schnitz sells. Not the ones they have.

postal's right, you'll bottom out. I'm about the same weight, got my bones in the middle hole. There's about 1-1/2" clearance strapped with me on it.
 
i learned form teh sh.org if you get the adjustable ones make sure the shaft is steel and not aluminum...the aluminum strips and corrodes and shid. Also make sure they are teh same length casue you may end up with one link supporting the bike

Exactly ! Get the ones that are all steel.
 
hmm. using common sense? threading aluminum with force? right. these are busa owners, not nasa craftsmen........
