Yes, it will bottom out over speed bumps, etc. You might even have trouble at the rear of the bike.I just purchased a 05 gray and black hayabusa, it is my 1st serous bike. I wiegh 270 will the bike scrap if I lower it to the lowest link hole? Also what can you guys tell me about the swingarm bolt-on adjustable extensions? Thanks hope to use this forum in the future.
Damn that, spill the beans. We tell whose products work great, so tell whose stuff sucks too.UPDATE: Bought some adjustable links "like" the ones Schnitz sells and they stripped out. If you buy some get the ones Spencer Cycles has. They 're all steel, much stronger.
Not gonna slam the company, so I'm not gonna name call.
Again, mine were "like" the ones Schnitz sells. Not the ones they have.
postal's right, you'll bottom out. I'm about the same weight, got my bones in the middle hole. There's about 1-1/2" clearance strapped with me on it.Yes, it will bottom out over speed bumps, etc. You might even have trouble at the rear of the bike.I just purchased a 05 gray and black hayabusa, it is my 1st serous bike. Just my .02.
Postal.
Exactly ! Get the ones that are all steel.i learned form teh sh.org if you get the adjustable ones make sure the shaft is steel and not aluminum...the aluminum strips and corrodes and shid. Also make sure they are teh same length casue you may end up with one link supporting the bike
true dat ! Only for me my dealer got me.hmm. using common sense? threading aluminum with force? right. these are busa owners, not nasa craftsmen........
