lowering.....

SOME FACTOES TO CONSIDER WHEN YOU LOWER IT IS YOUR WEIGHT AND WHAT KIND OF RIDDING YOU PLAN TO DO . MY BIKE IS LOWERED ON ADJUSTABLE BDE 3 INCHES AND I WEIGH 150 LBS. YEA JUST A LIGHTWEIGHT BUT I HAVE VERY LITTLE TROUBLE WITH SCRAPPING THE BELLY PAN IT HAS TO BE A PRETTY TALL BUMP BEFORE IT HITS. FOR ME I THINK IT HANDLES THE CURVES GOOD BUT I BOUGHT THE BIKE THIS WAY AND GOT USED TO IT FRON THE GET GO. THE MAIN THING I LIKE ABOUT IT LOWERED IS THAT IT LAUNCHES LIKE A ROCKET IT IS VERY EASY TO KEEP THE FRONT WHEEL ON THE GROUND AND JUST BLAST IT WITH A BIKE LOWERED AT THE SAME TIME WHEELIES CAN BE ROUGH EXPECALLY IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO BRING THE FRONT END DOWN SLOOOOOWLY BECOUSE IF IT COMES DOWN HARD ITS HARD!!!!! AND THAT BRINGS ME TO MY LAST POINT YOU WILL HAVE TO READJUST YOUR SUSP. SETTINGS ON YOUR FRONT FORKS AND ON YOUR SHOCKS TO GET IT TO RIDE THE WAY YOU WANT, YOU JUST HAVE TO PICK A STARTING POINT AND PLAY WITH THEM FOR A FEW DAYS TILL YOU GET IT RIGHT!!!! IF NOTHING ELSE LOWER IT AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT CHANGE IT BACK THIS MOD IS ONE OF EASIER ONES TO DO OR UNDO!!!!!

The lower the bike the slower it will be to initiate a turn no matter how people feel its just a fact of how bikes work. You need to figure out what you want out of the bike. Twisty and flickable, track or just pure looks. Once you figure that out then begin your mods, otherwise you risk throwing your money away.
