Lowering

not sure what you are asking. but i'll give it a stab... i personally went with the fully adjustable lowering links, (not dogbones) because i liked the idea of having the option to put the rear end at any height i wanted instead of choosing between 3 postitions that dogbones give you. You will need to get all the weight off the swing arm to do it. Lucky for me the dealership that i bought my bike and links from installed them for free! After you get the fully adjustable ones on though you can adjust the height of the bike without taking the weight off the swingarm again. Dog bone style links require you to get all the weight off the rear suspension so you can remove the bolt and install it in the next hole. I have not yet bought anything to lower my front end but plan to in the near future. Hope this helps!

i dont remember the brand... i ordered them when i bought the bike and they came from a catalog in the dealership.. I believe i found them online though... here is a picture...
the center section turns when you loosen the two jam nuts on either end of it raising or lowering your bike and like i said... once you install them you can adjust the height of the bike without getting the all the weight off the swing arm. I found this picture of these adjustable links at www.protekk.com
these are the best side shots that i have of my bike... i told the dealership when they installed them that i wanted them to lower it enough to bring the seat height down at most to 1" so i have no idea how much they lowered it. I rode it at stock height for 2 weeks waiting for the links to come in and after they installed the links i havent touched them cause the height they put them at was perfect for me!
