so i`ve been riding since December stock getting a good feel and leaning real far in the turns. i don`t like chicken strips. so for a big bike i`m very pleased with its handling.
but always trying new things i got a set of -1.5" dog bones, got them installed, adjusted the preload than set out again to try. i only lowered the back. i liked the look. when setting on it feet were flat and no pressure on the wrist.
but what i noticed right off the bat is how much slower it would steer in to a turn, slow response. it second thing was a traction problem. i run 16/42 i can get the front up real easy.with no clutch. but with the lowering . i tried to do it like i always do and the back tire would just spin.
so i removed them. and they will be for sale.
i only write this to possibly help, with some information for anyone going to try this combination. i`m still going to lower it but with a tobin seat.this is just my 2.5cents
