I had saddle bags and a seat bag on mine and went 8000 miles around the coutry . No breakage ! The 99-01 busa's had aluminum subs that cracked .

I found a used set of givi brackets....years ago. Got very lucky as Givi quit selling them for the 99-07.
May sound nut's but went 180 GPS with them on [downhill]

I found a used set of custom mounts for GIVIs. Never had a chance to mount them however. Thanks for posting the picture of yours. I might get in the mood to look for the Givi Luggage or sell them LoL......
