so umm yeah.... had to get new shoes today and wanted to give my assesment of the Angels.

For sport touring, nothing is better IMO. they lasted 11k miles....with me at the controls. I have ridden this tire through just about any weather condition and at 10k miles took it to SoCals Finest and beat the hell out of it. The guys at FBC said "That tire has been through some (dookie)" I switched to Pilot Pures to give them a go but if i ever need an ST tire, these are it.

Thanks for the review, putting mine on in a couple weeks for the season.

Ever have any traction issues? Issues in the twisties? (I assume NP as long as I remember it's a touring tire)

:beerchug:

11k miles on a Busa?!

That's nuts. What is your riding style? I'm pretty heavy wristed, and like to shred em in the turns. I have a PR2 rear now, and it's at 5k with about 2mm left in tread depth - so far the best mileage I have gotten.

i have a heavy foot....

I also have never had and traction issues except for once on wet roads and the rear tire was unloaded so you cant blame the tire. I guess I can say this concerning the grip "can handle anything you "should" be doing on the street"

Thanks Keven, i'll be sportin' new angels come bash time! 350 miles down should rub 'em up perfect!

Keep in mind boys, no touring tire will let you get by with mistakes that a performance tire will!

Also do a little aritmetic, a single crash due to going cheap on rubber will cost more than the touring tires save you over the life of the bike!

I'm not saying "Don't do it", simply food for thought when making a tire choice.

That is why i changed from a touring tire while being out here with these hoons

I may have to give them a try next. As far as tire profile, how do you lke the shape? I like the round profile of the PR2 and PP2ct front.

I love the Angel's that I have on the 'Busa right now and have 1k or so miles left on them. I am gonna look into what tire on want to put on there next.
