Ok folks its the start of a new year, and with all new years I am sure some of you have vowed to loose weight get in shape and so on.. Well in my life i have found it easier to reach a goal if I am against others. Kind of pumps me up more..

So heres the deal..

Starting Monday everyone who wants in will have posted a starting weight, and we report back the first of every month to show our progress. Post pics if you want, but lets make this happen.. Who knows when we all get down to that greek god body maybe Capt will make a "Men of Hayabusa.org" calender

I am sure my wife would buy one..

So whos in?

I'm in  I started Yesterday though. I'll have to "weigh-in" for Monday. I've got three months to drop my winter/holiday weight so I'm ready for the first LSR event this year. :cheerleader: My goal is to drop 20lbs. which should be possible in this time period.

Cools,, sounds good. My goal is to drop how ever much I need to get back in a size 34 Jeans. I am guessing maybe 100 pounds... Would still like to have a wash board tummy tho lol..

Good luck, all!

Great way to git 'er done; together! :beerchug:

I'll join in as well. I behaved badly the last part of '08 and my leather's shrank will in storage.

I'll get in. I was going to do it anyway and this will only further guarantee I stick with it, I do my best when challenged. I'm hoping to drop about 60lbs and get back into my gym routine that went out the window about two years ago.

.Org Biggest Loser!

I am in but in order to make it fair we need a close out date and I think a before and after picture should be mandatory.

Sounds good. Everyone get a pic of your self posted in this thread by Monday, I figure the closing date will be Halloween of 09. That way no one kills them selves starving and so on.

I'm in. I got down to 172 from 185 last year, then turned around goofed off and now I'm at 195. I've done it once, I can do it again, but this time I've got to STEP AWAY FROM THE TABLE. My leather pants kept unsnapping on my ride yesterday...

P.S. My wife is a Dietician; anyone wanting individual counseling PM me and I'll see if I can talk her into it.

ok, a Christmas day pic.. that's probably as recent as I can get

I'll jump in on it too ... i was doing great with my diet last year, dropped 60lbs, then put back on about 30 with bad habits on the road and of course the "sympathy eating" while Alison was pregnant

Now that the baby is here, I'm definitely getting my anus back on track

wait a sec.... this should exclude Ben... his before picture has already been posted a couple times..

I'm in...

I'm only shooting for 15lbs. But, I'm going to add that I want at least 2 inches around my upper arm (bi's and tri's), to lose 1 inch around my midsection, and tack on at least an inch around my upper leg (hammi's in particular), and a more defined midsection (pecks, abs and lats).

Not sure I want to post pictures but I might after the fact if my progress is good. We'll see.

I'm already working a plan. I have severely limited pop of any kind. I want to loose at least 20 lbs in the next 2 to 3 months.

I did one of those last time I needed to loose wait in a short period and it just drained my whole body of any energy. That's why this time I've given myself plenty of time to adjust.

You need to keep the proteins up when you go fast. Simple proteins are easy to convert to energy. I've done it before any I felt great during and after. I went from 205 to 167 in 3.5 months. I felt best at 175-180. That is my current target.
