In order to be succesful one needs to rethink their eating habits. Many diet plans will help you lose weight but the question is, how long can you maintain that plan?
I've done my best by simply changing eating habits. Lower fat and cholesterol diet has worked great in the past. Cut out high fat/cholesterol foods, fried foods, junk foods etc. and add an exercise plan. A daily multi-vitamin and fiber supplement also does wonders for it. It's fairly easy to maintain, you don't starve yourself, and it works not to mention most doctors recommend it over many of the fad diets out there. Only problem with it, it takes some planning and making the right choices. More times than not the right choice isn't the choice that tastes the best.
I did it this way last year. After the initial week or two of it I was never hungry, dropped just shy of 30lbs in the first month, never had hearburn, blood pressure dropped to near perfect, cholesterol fell into acceptable levels and my energy level shot through the roof. It also improved my level of concentration.
