Making the Busa Lighter

Are you running a Intercooled Turbo kit capable of 600hp+ with a large water chiller?

@StreetShark it’s not a dog at you, my point is that he is running something more extreme (as well as others) so that weight isn’t happening with a LSR setup. Not to mention light bikes don’t work on the big end.

A 40-200 dash is much different than running 250+. He’s trying to run 270+ just for reference…

if not already mentioned, a pair valve delete and you can move the rectifier inside the tail section and get rid of a bunch of brackets. delrin end bars, aluminum rear sprocket, lithium battery, lighter foot pegs, keyless gas cap. just some of the easy and inexpensive parts to swap to take weight off.
Does anyone here have any idea how much weight is reduced by doing the PAIR valve delete?

How much do you ride ? After 6 years on the battery, go lithium, believe you’ll save 7 or 8 pounds, when the chain needs replacing, go with aluminum rear sprocket, another 7 or 8 pounds, get rid of the tool bag a pond or two. The biggest savings you could make would be fuel exhaust, single sided 100 + pounds
