Call me crazy but, as a relative new "Hayabusai", I appreciate both sites. ::11
I also have high praise for TheGSResources.com!
One thing I've noticed in the "forum" communities. There are often opportunities to get into "unfortunate communications" but the choice is always there to simply not engage in negative activity.
As an example, the only truly negative online behavior that I've ever experienced from any member of any of the three forums that of which I'm a member was from a Hayabusa.org member shortly after I registered here. I had used a bit of sarcasm to make a point in what I thought was a respectful discussion of opinion and this member saw it as a personal attack on them, which it was not how it was meant. The member posted a venomous and destructive reply replete with name calling and derision. I suggested that they must refrain from such offensive communications and they then replied with veiled physical threats. While I could have continued to engage, I chose instead to report the behavior to the Admins and cease any and all communication with that member. The Admins here cleaned up his posts a bit and that members presence faded to the point that they seem to have chosen to spend their time elsewhere these days, in spite of the fact that they had a very healthy post count and presumably, had been around here regularly for a good while.
Bad apples are everywhere, but the active members of both sites, regardless of what history there may be between the founders, seem to be good folk for the most part.
While not everyone will like everyone else and there will always be differences from one person to the next, with just a little bit of effort, it ain't too hard to get along with each other.
Best of luck!
