managed to get the motor out(vid)

i hear you but some times you get ripped off like that, they say you need a new this and that when you really didn't need it.

I have sent all my tranny's to Fast By Gast, and have all ways had a great outcome!
Most of the time, your gears can be repaired, with no need to replace them.
They have a great turn around time, with great service!
The last too i sent them, i sent every thing, and told them to completely inspect everything!
There site link is here, Fast By Gast - High Performance Motorcycle Parts

Also im building 6 motors this winter, and all of the tranny's are going there!

FBG is who I used as well. I felt like I was treated very fairly and they know their stuff.

i replaced my 2nd gear... and now my first gear is slipping..... not sure if it was something i did when putting everything back together or not... but a shop told me i should have changed my shift drum as well..... but all other gears are perfect except 1st

There are two sides on the C clips. One side is flat, the other side more or less beveled. Make certain they are oriented correctly on installation.

just some update vid of the progress

Nice Video Ham. Need to get into the "How to video market".
I'd take one on a "Head gasket replcmnt" instruction please..

I'm looking forward to checking out your winter progression.

i may show how the tranns is taken apart and put back together.but i want a hi def camera first.

Means the flat side of the clip away from any gear or spacer.

It's been awhile but two clips go one way , the third clip opposite of them on that particular shaft.

Don't feel bad. Thats a poor illustration for sure.
