Very interesting. I think the styling is every bit as controversial as the Busa. That air scoop really sticks out and the rear upper trailing edge of the lower fairing creates a long straight line that draws too much of my attention.
Battery service looks tough and how do you adjust the valves if the airbox is the frame? Do you have to drop the engine? Maybe the lifters are hydraulic and they never need adjusting. heh! heh! heh!
The digital display right of the tach is massive and how about those curved things at the bottom. Are they road depictions. Is this thing GPS Map-ready?
But if it whups Busa asses people will get used to the eccentricities in a big hurry. I don't care. A fine rider on a CBR600 could whup me on lot's of roads and I'll just keep on smiling all the way to the end. My Busa is the finest bike I've owned or ridden in my 40 years of experience.
If you look at picture you will notice that they have put little "wings" on the front forks as well as the side fairing. They say it's to reduce problems with "dirty air".

this site has a lot of pic's of the new ZX12
You can see from the pic's of the engine and side views that the trans is not stacked up on top of the crank, ie. the wheel base must be long.
