Marble mod

On my quest for a smoother running bike, what would the marble mod or even the pair valve removal do to a 100% stock bike?

Any pros? cons?

Don't know if its worth the effort to remove the PAIR if you aren't installing a full system or at least bolt/slip-ons.

Sorry to hijack the post but I also have a question. Would using the marble be equivalent to removing the PAIR valve? I have a full system and sounds funny. Do not want to go through the trouble of removing the valve for warranty purposes.
