sorry, guess you're into chorme. I believe in the "form follows function" thing.I think for $2300.00, they should look a lot better than that.

Streak, lowered and extended you know you'll have the advantage. I could have swore I saw you at Atco last time. I noticed your bike but didn't catch your buddies Ford truck. I'll be ready in a few weeks. I got a couple things still goin' on before I get back on the track.Looks great!!!!! My offer still stands. We really should race for them. You've got more HP but I'll still give you the hit. I'll see you at the track one of these days.
The lighter wheels will enable greater acceleration, but will do absolutely nothing for top speed. If it takes less energy to turn those wheels that horsepower can be used for other things - like greater top speed or increased acceleration.
We'll delve into a little physics here to explain this, but we'll make it painless
(here's where the physics guys would go into the "mass and acceleration" discussion, but we're going to skip it...)
have to agree 110%sorry, guess you're into chorme. I believe in the "form follows function" thing.I think for $2300.00, they should look a lot better than that.
I only cut/paste the breakdown above about the cycles charactaristics. I did it to just to give some people an idea of what benifits of reducing reciprocating mass are. I do believe they would increase your top speed within a given distance. The lighter wheels will enable greater acceleration, but will do absolutely nothing for top speed. If it takes less energy to turn those wheels that horsepower can be used for other things - like greater top speed or increased acceleration.

And I like how you delve into physics and make it painless. You simply skip it!
All the same, nice looking machine...

boost can be reliable, you're right. But it's usually hit or miss when it's first installed. I've seen it on this board let alone heard many horror stories. Also have you ridden a boosted bike. It usually nothing... nothing ...... nothing..... then all of a sudden you're pointing straigt up to the sky. To me thats unusable horsepower.Boost is reliable if the person that installs it and tunes it knows the the hell their doing.
I agree with greater top speed within a given distance, that's acceleration. (F=ma) (Wheels rotate, pistons reciprocate)I do believe they would increase your top speed within a given distance.
thanks man!I think they look killer..And its only money right .. If you got it flaunt it..LOL
not at all, I just didn't want credit for someone elses write up.I agree with greater top speed within a given distance, that's acceleration. (F=ma) (Wheels rotate, pistons reciprocate)I do believe they would increase your top speed within a given distance.
I just can't help getting drawn into physics as at 39 years old, I've gone back to school to study astrophysics. Hope I didn't offend you.

(All Black) 2003 UK model.
Thanks Blu, Stealth/sleeper is the whole idea.wheels look great .. in into the stealth look as well...
